Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav has rejected his brother Shivpal Yadav's resignation from the post of Uttar Pradesh party chief.

Earlier, Shivpal met Mulayam at the latter's residence in Lucknow.

He told his supporters protesting outside his residence to go to party office and convey their point to Mulayam calmly.
