The opposition members disrupted proceedings of the Rajya Sabha as soon as the House began. Members of opposition parties trooped into the Well, shouting slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

As his efforts to pacify the members failed, Deputy Chairman P J Kurien adjourned the House for 30 minutes.

In Lok Sabha, the opposition members continued shouting slogans against the PM as the Question Hour went on.
