Mumbai Police to contact Google, YouTube to block Tanmay Bhat's 'Sachin vs Lata' video.
Raj Thackeray's MNS today filed a police complaint against All India
Bakchod's (AIB) Tanmay Bhat and threatened violence against any event
featuring the 28-year-old stand-up comic. Bhat has allegedly mocked
veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar in a
video, which has already triggered a sharp backlash on social media.
The Special Branch of the Mumbai Police is inquiring into the complaint against AIB, DCP, PRO Mumbai Police said.

Khopkar today told reporters that they will beat Bhatt "whenever they
see him". "Whenever we will see Tanmay, we will beat him. We will not
let him do any shows," the MNS leader said.
"Some things should
be beyond politics. Our agenda is clear. Those who have made videos on
Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar should be arrested," he demanded.
Bhatt,
a popular comedian with the AIB, had posted the video titled 'Sachin vs
Lata Civil War' on May 26 on Facebook. Actors Anupam Kher, Riteish
Deshmukh and Celina Jaitly have criticised Bhat for roasting Tendulkar
and Mangeshkar, calling the video "not funny".
