Attorney General briefs Prez on U'khand result
May 11, 2016
Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi is now with President Pranab Mukherjee to brief him on Uttarakhand result.

In a major embarrassment for the Narendra Modi government, the Centre had to revoke President's Rule in Uttarakhand after Congress leader Harish Rawat won the floor test.

"Rawat gets 33 votes out of 61 in the floor test. No irregularities were found in the voting. Nine MLAs could not vote due to their disqualification," the Supreme Court said.
