The Supreme court Collegium has shortlisted four names for appointment to the apex court. The names shortlisted are:
-- Allahabad High Court chief justice D Y Chandrachud.
-- Chief Justice Ashok Bhushan of Kerala HC
-- Chief Justice A M Khanwilkar of Madhya
Pradesh HC.
-- Former Additional Solicitor General Nageswara Rao.
While the names will soon be forwarded to the government, the selection will be done by SC chief justice TS Thakur and senior judges. Appointments are expected soon after the government completes the formalities.
