Brussels attacks: 'Explosion and gunfire heard' during police operations

Explosions and gunfire have reportedly been heard during police operations in Brussels.Witnesses described what sounded like two blasts at the start of the raid in Schaerbeek on Saturday, where a suspect has reportedly been "neutralised".
The area was closed of and a nearby tram was evacuated as armed police and military vehicles were seen in the area, according to RBTF News.A sighting of a bomb disposal squad and specialist robot sparked speculation that there had been a controlled explosion.
