Just in: Hyderabad University students protest and vandalise the Vice Chancellor Appa Rao's office. The University of Hyderabad VC who was on a two-month leave, resumed office this morning.

The Hyderabad campus is where Dalit student Rohith Vemula hung himself in January.

Students targeted the office of the VC, who was on leave in the aftermath of the protests that followed Vemula's death. Students blamed the "dictatorship of the union government" in allowing Rao to resume his duties.
