Prez tweets pics 'Abode of Gods'

President of India @RashtrapatiBhvn Dehradun, India More pictures of beautiful Uttarakhand, also known as Dev bhoomi or abode of the Gods.
President Pranab Mukherjee's scheduled visit to the Kedarnath shrine in
the Rudraprayag district of Uttaranchal was cancelled at the last moment
today due to bad weather conditions in the area.
His chopper
could not land in Kedarnath because of the weather. The President had
left from his residence Rashtrapati Bhavan in the morning. According to
the schedule, he was supposed to reach Jolly Grant Airport at Dehradun
at 8:40 am and visit the shrine at 10 am, but the flight was cancelled
due to inclement weather. The President is now on his way back to
Dehradun.
The President's visit comes on the third anniversary of
the terrible Kedarnath floods of 2013 and Chief Minister Harish Rawat
personally wanted the president presence to usher in a sense of
normalcy.
