The parliament, which has an impressive library, is unable to provide the documents pertaining to the 1920 act of Parliament on the Aligarh Muslim University for Vice President Hamid Ansari's reference. The only available copy is in poor condition and cannot just be taken down from the book shelf or for that matter lent.

So, the vice president will be spending time at the library taking notes.  An attempt was made to get micro filming done, but the text is illegible. Librarians we are told are up against a real battle on how to satisfy the Dr Ansari.
