The Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday confirmed the news.Earlier, it was announced that Delhi will remain on high alert till the Republic Day as the Centre had asked the Delhi Police to be prepared to foil any attempt by terrorists to carry out strikes in the city.

According to reports, the directive has come following intelligence inputs in the wake of terror attack at Pathankot Air Base.
