PM to attend centenary convocation of the Banaras Hindu University today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the centenary convocation of the Banaras Hindu University on Monday where he will deliver an address.

On the occasion, more than 400 students will also be awarded with Medals for their outstanding performance.

During the ceremony, a divyang girl student Pankhuri Jain, who topped in BSC math honors course, will also share the dais with the prime minister.

Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani, BHU Chancellor Dr Karan Singh and other dignitaries will be present on this occasion.

The prime minister reached reached Varanasi last night.
