Anti-national slogans are not sedition: former Attorney General Sorabjee

Former Attorney General Soli Sorabjee delineated the law on sedition and said that even if some of the slogans raised at JNU were 'problematic', they do not amount to a charge of sedition against Kanhaiya Lal, who happened to be at the event where the slogans were raised. "Merely saying 'Pakistan zindabad', is not sedition. Saying 'Bharat ki barbaadi' is problematic, but I would rather say not sedition," he said.
