Siachen survivor reaches Delhi, family on the way

Lance Naik Hanamanthappa Koppad has landed in Delhi. His family members will leave for New Delhi via Goa.

The Lance Naik survived after being trapped in the avalanche at Siachen glacier last Wednesday. His wife Jayashri, child Netra, mother Basavva Ramappa Koppad, brother Govindappa Ramappa Koppad, brother-in-law Subhas Ashok Bilebal and nephew Ramappa Govindappa Koppad will leave for New Delhi.

Arrangements have been made to take them to New Delhi after the army officials confirmed the news of Koppad being miraculously alive and being treated at a hospital.
