As the strike of municipal employees entered its tenth day, the agitation among sanitation workers and other employees of the three civic agencies picked up pace.

Over 1.5 lakh workers are on strike depriving the city of its basic services. For the last nine days, heaps of garbage has been left abandoned, causing immense inconvenience to the residents.
