La La Land looks poised to be a darling of this year's Hollywood awards season, getting seven Golden Globes nominations.

Ryan Gosling is nominated for best actor, Emma Stone for best actress, Damien Chazelle for best director, one of its songs for best song, and the movie itself for best picture.

Just behind La La Land are Moonlight -- with six nominations -- and Manchester by the Sea with five.
