Indigo: Bengal CM plane made normal landing, not short on fuel
December 01, 2016

Mamata flight row: IndiGo says the flight carrying West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee from Patna to Kolkata had a normal landing at Kolkata airport. The flight was kept on hold due to air traffic. Indigo says there was a misinterpretation by ATC controller that led him to instruct fire engines and ambulances to be stationed at Kolkata airport. Indigo says it didn't tell ATC it was low on fuel.

The TMC has raised West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's 'flight scare' in Parliament with the government now initiating a probe by the DGCA.
