A 12-year-old girl in Kolkata was kidnapped, gang-raped and murdered, allegedly by two cab drivers who have been arrested.

NDTV reports that the girl, who lived on the pavement with her family, was allegedly picked up from the streets in central Kolkata around 5 am on Wednesday.

The police said the attackers - one drives an Ola cab - were drunk and raped the child on the Park Circus flyover and threw her over a bridge into a canal.
