Have not received invite to be part of all-party delegation to Kashmir: Cong
August 30, 2016

With Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to lead an all-party delegation to Kashmir on September 4, the Congress Party on Tuesday said that it has yet not received invitation from the side of the government.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said that the Centre has yet not discussed the points to be raised in Kashmir and without being aware of the agenda, the grand old party cannot decide that whether it will be a part of all the all-party delegation or not.

"We have not yet received any invitation. And my party will take a stand after analyzing the governments agenda for Kashmir. After knowing the purpose of the visit and that what are the points he is going to raise there in advance, if they give all the details then only my party will take a decision to accompany the government delegation. Without knowing anything how can I say that we are going to participate in the delegation," said Kharge.
