Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who has been hospitalised and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital for the last nine days after after taking ill during a roadshow in Varanasi, has shown improvement from infection.

"She had no fever today," stated a health bulletin released by the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital today.

"Sonia Gandhi is responding to antibiotics and has restarted her physiotherapy rehabilitation for shoulder," the hospital added.
