DMK president M Karunanidhi will be contesting the elections for the second time from Tiruvarur constituenc. He contested from this constituency for the first time in 2011. 


The process of filing nominations will begin on April 22. He will file his nomination and begin his campaigning soon after that. A van has been customized for Karunanidhi who is wheelchair bound.
