Bloodshed, killing in Nepal after it adopts constitution

Nepal adopted its first democratic constitution yesterday amid protests. At least person was shot dead and 15 other injured in clashes in Birgunj in the southern part of the country.

Two of those injured are critical, reports Al Jazeera. The protesters vandalised the residence of CPN-UML lawmaker Rajkumar Gupta at Birgunj-17.

A curfew has been imposed in the city after protests against the constitution.
