Terrorists attack Pakistan air force base in Peshawar

Just in: Terrorists attack Pakistan air force base in Babader area in Peshawar.

Security forces have reached the base and cordoned off the area. A search operation has also been initiated, reports Geo TV.

DG ISPR Major General Asim Bajwa tweeted that seven to 10 terrorists tried to break deep into the base but were contained around the guard room. He said that the entire response mechanism had reacted quickly, effectively surrounded and contained terrorists in a small area. The DG ISPR added that three terrorists had been killed.
