Former Delhi HC judge Khethrapal to be the new Lokayukta of Delhi

After a gap of nearly two years, Delhi is set to get its new Lokayukta. 

Retired Delhi high court judge Rewa Khethrapal will be Delhi's new Ombudsman.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung had a meeting with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta to come up with the final name for the top post. 

There was a unanimous agreement to appoint Khetrapal as the Lokayukta, a post that had lain vacant since November 2013.
