BJP wants climate change to be debated in Parliament
November 24, 2015
Former environment minister Jairam Ramesh on Monday met Prakash Javdekar and briefed him on the Congress party's points that need to be articulated at the Climate Change conference. Javdekar says that many political leaders have keen interest in climate change and in fact, these leaders want a day-long discussion in Parliament on the subject. But Congress, which is likely to disrupt this session of parliament as well, may not allow climate change to be discussed in the Lok Sabha.
