The Calcutta High Court on Thursday put West Bengal cabinet minister Madan Mitra on house arrest till November 17. A division bench comprising Justice Joymalya Bagchi and Justice Mir Dara Sheko were hearing a petition for cancellation of bail for Mitra filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation, currently probing the multi-crore rupee Saradha scam.
