An earthquake, 7.4 in magnitude and 19 km deep, has hit 68km west of Namche Bazaar, Nepal, according to US Geological Survey. It was followed by strong aftershocks.

Eight quakes were felt in Nepal between 12:35 and 2 pm. Four people confirmed dead.
