The MHA has the final word on the quake. "Two earthquakes struck India with epicentres in Nepal (7.1 on Richter Scale) and Afghanistan (6.9 in Richter scale)," says the MHA.

India's Met says these are the aftershocks of the April 25 earthquake.

USGS however says the quake measures 7.4 on the Richter Scale.
