US believes Pakistani version of helicopter crash

The US today said it believes Pakistan's explanation that a technical fault was responsible for the deadly crash of a helicopter in PoK that killed seven people including the Norwegian and Filipino envoys.
"We have no reason to doubt what the Pakistani authorities have said. But, of course, it's just happened, so they're investigating," State Department Deputy Acting Spokesman Jeff Rathke told reporters.
