President to present Bharat Ratna to family of Madan Mohan Malaviya today

President Pranab Mukherjee will be presenting the Bharat Ratna to the family of Pandit Madan Malaviya today at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Earlier, on Friday, in a private ceremony, the President had conferred India's highest civilian honour on former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
President Mukherjee will also be presenting the Padma awards today in a function. Some of the noted personalities, who will be honoured are Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar, LK Advani and Parkash Singh Badal.
