Nifty hit an all-time high of 8,996.80 as markets rallied for the fourth straight day on Budget optimism. The Nifty gained nearly 40 points, edging past its previous record high of 8,996.60 hit on January 30, 2015. The Nifty has now gained around 300 points or over 3 per cent since Friday. The Sensex is up over 800 points in the last four sessions.
