BJP MP wants Gmail to be banned for common man
March 03, 2015

During zero hour today in Rajya Sabha, BJP MP Tarun Vijay congratulated the government for banning the use of Gmail, Yahoo, and all third party e-mail services for government officials. Congratulating the government, he said that as these services stored data abroad, it was not safe for the government to depend on it. He also added that these services should provide alternative e-mail services to the common man, as providers like Gmail, Yahoo etc. He said they should be declared 'untrustworthy' for common citizens too.
