Sister Nirmala laid to rest

Sister Nirmala, the head of the Missionaries of Charity (MoC) founded by Mother Teresa, was buried in the St John's Church cemetery this evening.
Archbishop of Calcutta Father Thomas D'Souza and several priests, sisters and representatives of the MoC from various states and abroad were present when her body was laid to rest at around 7.20 pm.
