Meanwhile, in a crackdown on illegal breweries, the police in Thane district destroyed thousand litres of illicit liquor in raids.
This raid comes a day after Thane's Guardian Minister, Eknath Shinde, reportedly ordered the wiping out of illegal breweries.Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kalyan, Sanjay Jadhav, said six people were arrested in the raid.
