Mumbai's Western Railway services cancelled AGAIN
June 19, 2015

Suburban trains of Western Railway have been suspended again between Andheri and Churchgate due to rise in water level at Matunga Road and at Elphinstone Road.

Earlier, train services had resumed around 4.20 pm, although commuters complained of the trains running at a snail's pace. Mumbai's public transport was hit on Friday after the city received an unprecedented 283 mm of rainfall. The civic body chief and the state CM has asked Mumbaikars to stay indoors and travel only in case of emergency.

The civic body chief also warned that heavy rains would continue for the next 24 hours.
