My deepest condolences to his family. Farmers in our country are in deep distress. I urge the Modi-Badal Govt to take action & not continue to ignore their plight."


The farmer, who Rahul met on April 28, asked him to raise the farmers' issue in the Lok Sabha. Yesterday, burdened by mounting debts and two failed crops, Singh reportedly committed suicide.
