Muslim Law Board to move court against Centre making yoga compulsory

The Narendra Modi government's plan to make yoga compulsory in schools is facing a fresh hurdle. 

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has warned the government that it will launch a nationwide campaign against the order that makes yoga and surya namaskars compulsory in schools. 

The AIMPLB will move court demanding cancellation of the government's order.

The AIMPLB has called it an attempt to impose Hindu religious practices through the school curriculum. 

The board has called the Modi government's policies illegal and against the Constitution.
