The Taliban statement on Thursday confirming Mullah Omar's death was delightfully imprecise as to when exactly he died. Unsurprisingly, though, it insisted that he died in Afghanistan due to natural causes, although it wouldn't say where he exactly he drew his last breath. Don't worry, details will emerge.
