The BJP today claimed that results of the by-elections to six assembly constituencies in states showed that people have once again reposed their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and strongly rebuffed the practitioners of negative politics "led by Congress".


"The bypoll results are a shot in the arm for the BJP and its positive politics at the Centre and in states and is a strong rebuff for the practitioners of negative politics led by the Congress," BJP spokesperson G V L Narasimha Rao said.
