India successfully test fires N-capable Agvi V missile

India successfully test fired the surface-to-surface nuclear capable ballistic missile Agni-V with range of 5,000 kilometre from Wheeler Island off the Odisha coast. The 5,000 km-plus nuclear capable missile, developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation was launched for the first time from a canister.The canister launch of the missile is a big boost to the defence forces as it gives "greater mobility and flexibility".
