BJP's CM candidate Kiran Bedi has TWO voter IDs

BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi has two voter identity cards with separate addresses and the Election Commission has started an inquiry into the alleged violation even as AAP and Congress demanded a thorough probe into the issue.

According to Election Commission's record, Bedi was issued separate voter identity cards with addresses in Uday Park and Talkatora Lane. When asked about the issue, Bedi refused to comment.

Election Commission officials said procuring two voter identity cards was a violation and the entire issue is being inquired. They said the Commission was examining whether Bedi had applied for cancellation of the first card with Talkatora Lane as her address.

We are inquiring into the issue and a final conclusion will be arrived at soon. Having two voter cards is a violation of law, said a senior election official.
