As new foreign secretary takes charge, Congress questions timing

As new Foreign Secretary Dr S Jaishankar takes charge, the Congress questioned the timing of the appointment. Manish Tewari said, "Why wait till US President Barack Obama's departure? The timing of the appointment is questionable."
Jaishankar took charge of the Foreign Secretary post this morning after Sujatha Singh's term was 'curtailed' last night. She had eight more months to serve.
