AFP reports that two, and not three people, have been taken hostage in Colombes in northwest Paris. The gunman is believed to be a holding a Kalashnikov rifle.  The post office has been cordoned off and there are choppers circling the area.

Earlier today, there was a bomb threat at a Paris train station, after which the station was evacuated.
