Alleged Uber rape victim may sue company in US

The woman who says she was raped by an Uber Technologies Inc. driver in Delhi has reached out to a high-profile lawyer in the U.S. to sue the car-hailing company. The woman, who has not been named in accordance with Indian law that protects the identity of alleged victims of rape, has engaged Douglas Wigdor, a New York-based lawyer who specializes in sexual assault cases.
