Kejriwal, along with Kiran Bedi, was one of the most famous faces of 2011's Lokpal movement and formed the backbone of the India Against Corruption movement.
Hazare, who fell out with Kejrwial after he joined politics has now said he would "welcome" Kejriwal to join him, allowing his campaign to take a political turn for the first time.
"Arvind Kejriwal is a Chief Minister, he cannot be treated like any ordinary citizen," he had said. "If other Chief Ministers join our protest, shall allow them to come on stage," Hazare said today.
