Delhi queues up for CM Kejriwal's 1st janata durbar
February 19, 2015

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal held his first public meet or the janata durbar  today. This was in keeping with Kejriwal's tradition and in fact, promise, of being available to the electorate. During his first brief stint as CM in 2013-2014, he had held a similar durbar which had ended in chaos with police having to lathi-charge the thousands that had turned up.

Today's event was less chaotic with at least a 1000 people allowed to meet the CM and hand over petitions.

The event, which began early this morning, lasted for around three hours, and was held at the AAP office in Kaushambi in Ghaziabad.
