In a sigh of relief for activist Teesta Setalvad, the Supreme Court has stayed the arrest order for a day. Earlier in the day, her arrest was imminent after Gujarat high court rejected her bail plea in the alleged Gulbarg society embezzlement case. She has been accused of misusing some Rs 1.5 crore allegedly collected for a museum at the Gulbarg Society where over 60 were killed during the Gujarat riots in 2002.
