Rajaji Naval Base in Chennai to be used to evacuate civilians

According to reports, the Rajaji Naval base 70 km off Chennai may become the makeshift domestic airport in order to evacuate civilians.
This news comes hot on the heels of the Airports Authority of India's decision to shut down Chennai Airport till Sunday, December 6.
Shelter for housing 100 needy people has been kept ready at INS Adyar and medical team has been kept on standby for deputing at short notice.
