Varanasi-bound Kamayani Express derailed in Madhya Pradesh

According to reports the Varanasi-bound Kamayani Express has derailed in Madhya Pradesh.

Five bogies of the train have reportedly fallen into the Machak river some 25 kilometers away from Harda.

The Kamayani Express reportedly derailed near the Kudawa railway station in central Madhya Pradesh.

Reports suggest the derailment was caused by incessant rain when the train was crossing a bridge.

A special team with doctors and rescue personnel has been dispatched to the spot in another train.

The Kamayani Express was travelling from Mumbai in Maharashtra to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
