Modi lamented that it took so long for the peace efforts to culminate into action. The PM said, "Unfortunately, the Naga problem has taken so long to resolve because we did not understand each other."
"Since becoming PM last year, peace, security and economic transformation of North East has been amongst my highest priorities," the PM said.
