Pakistan test-fires 1,300-km range ballistic Ghauri missile

Pakistan on Wednesday successfully conducted the training launch of the Ghauri Missile System.The Ghauri Ballistic Missile can carry both conventional and nuclear warheads up to a distance of 1,300 kilometres, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.
The launch, conducted by a Strategic Missile Group of the Army Strategic Forces Command, was aimed at testing the operational and technical readiness of the Army Strategic Forces Command.
